Vishnupriya completed her Masters in Physical Therapy specializing in Orthopedics from India in 2006.She started her practice in New York and has worked in various rehabilitation settings such as Outpatient clinics,Skilled nursing facilities and Independent living facilities.”Priya” has attended multiple continuing education seminars and received certifications to continuously improve physical therapy assessment and treatment skills.
She has hands on training in treating patients with specialized Manual Therapy Skills using Cyriax, Maitland, McKenzie and Mulligan approaches. She also has received training with McKenzie Institute USA and completed their Advanced Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar spine examinations and treatments of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.
Priya’s hands on approach with an emphasis on helping the patient understand their diagnosis along with planned intervention has helped patients in attaining pain relief and achieve their fitness through Physical Therapy. Priya always goes a step further in educating her patients by discussing maintenance exercises and ergonomic measures necessary to maintain the recovery.
